Viscosity is important, but so is the rheology when under shear, and the nature of any particles in the liquid. Some results are surprising!
Here are some tests we have carried out on off-the-shelf commercial products for comparison. Pumps were run at 50% of their maximum rate, and we measured the volume of product delivered compared to the design volume.
