Agreement strengthens and expands existing partnership focused on developing and marketing Quantex’s single-use, disposable pump technology

LONDON – March 26, 2018 – Vernay Laboratories, a global manufacturer of flow control devices, today announced it has taken an equity position in Quantex Arc, a London-based developer of single-use, disposable pump technology. Specific details of the investment were not disclosed.

The investment highlights the companies’ outstanding success and cooperation over the past four years, developing and marketing Quantex’s novel pump technology and reflects expectations for future growth.

“Since the beginning of the relationship, Vernay has been impressed by the market-disrupting potential of Quantex’s pump technology,” said Ed Urquhart, CEO of Vernay Laboratories.  “The addition of these pumps to Vernay’s existing product portfolio will open exciting possibilities within our core markets.”

Dr. Paul Pankhurst, founder and CEO of Quantex Arc, commented, “The partnership with Vernay has already had a positive impact on our sales growth and development pipeline.”
